Cajun Oven Fries Recipe - Cooking Index
4 | Thin-skinned white potatoes (medium) | |
3 tablespoons | 45ml | Extra-virgin olive oil - (to 4) |
2 tablespoons | 30ml | Cayenne pepper sauce |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Ground thyme |
= (or poultry seasoning) | ||
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Sweet paprika |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Ground cumin |
Coarse salt - to taste | ||
Freshly-ground black pepper - to taste |
Preheat oven to 450 degrees.
Cut potatoes into wedges. In a large bowl, combine oil, hot sauce, thyme, paprika, and cumin. Toss potatoes in dressing and spread out in a single layer on a nonstick cookie sheet. Season wedges with salt and pepper and roast for 20 minutes, turning once.
This recipe yields 4 servings.
