Type: Rice1 cup | 160g / 5.6oz | Uncooked rice - see * Note |
2 cups | 474ml | Water |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Butter (or magarine) |
* Note: To decide how much rice to cook: figure that for every 3 cups of cooked rice you should start with 1 cup uncooked.
Put the rice, water and butter in the pressure cooker. Seal the lid and bring to pressure. Cook for 5 minutes. Release pressure. There may be some liquid still not quite absorbed by the rice. Allow to stand for two minutes before stirring to fluff.
This recipe yields 3 cups.
