Marinated Tomatoes Recipe - Cooking Index
3 tablespoons | 45ml | Chopped fresh parsley leaves |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Sugar |
1 1/2 teaspoons | 7.5ml | Garlic salt |
1 1/2 teaspoons | 7.5ml | Seasoned salt |
1/2 teaspoon | 2.5ml | Freshly-ground black pepper |
3/4 teaspoon | 3.8ml | Dried thyme |
3/4 cup | 177ml | Vegetable oil |
1/2 cup | 118ml | Red wine vinegar |
2 | Green onions - (to 3) - chopped | |
4 | Tomatoes - (to 6) - each cut 6 wedges (large) |
Combine all ingredients, except tomatoes, in a large measuring cup or mixing bowl. Whisk well.
Place tomatoes in a resealable plastic bag and pour marinade over. Marinate at room temperature for up to 2 hours, turning the bag occasionally.
This recipe yields 6 to 8 servings.
