Chayote Salad Recipe - Cooking Index
| 6 | Chayote - peeled, sliced thin | |
| = (a.K.A. Chocho, or Christophine) | ||
| 2 | Yellow peppers - julienned | |
| 1 | Red onion - thinly sliced | |
| 1/4 cup | 4g / 0.1oz | Chopped cilantro | 
| 1 | Lemon - juiced | |
| 1/4 cup | 59ml | White wine vinegar | 
| 1 cup | 237ml | Peanut or vegetable oil | 
| Salt - to taste | ||
| Freshly-ground black pepper - to taste | 
Toss together in a bowl. Turn out onto a platter and sprinkle with more salt and pepper.
This recipe yields 8 to 10 servings.
