| 1 | Loaf crusty Italian bread - sliced 1/2" thick | |

| 3 | Garlic cloves - peeled | |
| Extra-virgin olive oil | ||
| = (brands such as Catello di Ama or | ||
| Capezzana or Da Vero) | ||
| Sea salt - to taste |
Toast the bread until golden; rub each slice of toast with the garlic immediately upon removing it from the oven. Drizzle each slice with the extra-virgin olive oil and a pinch of sea salt.
This recipe yields 8 to 10 servings.
