1 | Crusty baguette loaf - cut into 12 slices | |
6 | Ripe plum tomatoes - sliced in half | |
1/4 cup | 59ml | Extra-virgin olive oil |
Salt - to taste | ||
Freshly-ground black pepper - to taste |
Preheat grill.
Place bread on grill and cook until lightly toasted. Remove and squeeze juice and seeds from half a tomato on to each piece of bread. Drizzle each slice with oil, season with salt and pepper and serve warm.
This recipe yields 4 servings as tapas.
