Recipe Ingredients

1   Crusty baguette loaf - cut into 12 slices
6   Ripe plum tomatoes - sliced in half
1/4 cup 59mlExtra-virgin olive oil
  Salt - to taste
  Freshly-ground black pepper - to taste

Recipe Instructions

Preheat grill.

Place bread on grill and cook until lightly toasted. Remove and squeeze juice and seeds from half a tomato on to each piece of bread. Drizzle each slice with oil, season with salt and pepper and serve warm.

This recipe yields 4 servings as tapas.
