Grilled Bread With Duck Fat, Sea Salt And Apples

Recipe Ingredients

1   Loaf crusty French bread
4 oz 113gDuck fat
  = (available at fancy butcher shops)
2 tablespoons 30mlSea salt - (to 3 tbspns)
1 tablespoon 15mlChopped fresh rosemary
2   Macoun apples

Recipe Instructions

Preheat grill or broiler.

Cut bread into 1-inch thick slices and grill until dark golden brown. Smear each slice with 1 to 2 teaspoons duck fat. Sprinkle each slice with sea salt, then rosemary. Serve warm with apples for slicing.

This recipe yields 6 servings.
