Shallot Vinaigrette Recipe - Cooking Index
| 1/2 cup | 118ml | Cider vinegar |
| 1 tablespoon | 15ml | Minced shallots |
| 1 teaspoon | 5ml | Dijon mustard |
| 1 teaspoon | 5ml | Sugar |
| Salt - to taste | ||
| Freshly-ground black pepper - to taste | ||
| 1/2 cup | 118ml | Olive oil |
In a small bowl, whisk together the cider vinegar, shallots, mustard, sugar, salt and pepper. Slowly drizzle in the oil, whisking constantly until thickened. Adjust seasonings to taste.
This recipe yields about 3/4 cup.
Per tablespoon: 80 calories, 1g carbohydrate, no protein, 9g fat, no cholesterol.
