| 1/3 cup | 78ml | Mayonnaise | 
| 1/3 cup | 78ml | Plain nonfat yogurt | 
| 1/2 cup | 118ml | Buttermilk | 
| 2 teaspoons | 10ml | Finely-grated onion | 
| 1 teaspoon | 5ml | Garlic clove - pressed (small) | 
| Salt - to taste | ||
| Freshly-ground black pepper - to taste | ||
| 1 teaspoon | 5ml | Snipped fresh chives | 
Combine the ingredients. Refrigerate, covered, until ready to use.
This recipe yields about 1 1/4 cups.
Per tablespoon: 30 calories, 1g carbohydrate, no protein, 3g fat, no cholesterol.
