Haricots Verts With Shallot Herb Butter Recipe - Cooking Index
2 lbs | 908g / 32oz | Haricots verts - stem ends trimmed |
6 tablespoons | 90ml | Shallot Herb Butter - (see recipe) |
Salt - to taste | ||
Freshly-ground black pepper - to taste |
Bring a pot of salted water to a boil. Add the haricots verts and cook until just tender, about 4 minutes. Drain, rinse under cold water and drain again.
Return the haricots verts to the pot and add the Shallot Herb Butter. Season with salt and pepper; cook over medium heat, tossing till warmed through, for 3 to 4 minutes. Serve immediately.
