Carrot Salad Topper Recipe - Cooking Index
Dressing | ||
3 tablespoons | 45ml | Olive oil |
1 1/2 tablespoons | 22ml | Fresh lemon juice |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Dijon mustard |
1/2 teaspoon | 2.5ml | Sugar |
Salt - to taste | ||
Freshly-ground black pepper - to taste | ||
Salad | ||
6 | Carrots - peeled, grated | |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Freshly-snipped chives |
Combine all of the dressing ingredients in a large bowl with a whisk. Add the grated carrots and chives; toss with the dressing.
This recipe yields 6 servings (makes about 3 cups).
Per 2 tablespoons: 25 calories, 2g carbohydrates, no protein, 2g fat, no cholesterol.
