Blue Cheese Mayonnaise Recipe - Cooking Index
1 cup | 237ml | Mayonnaise |
1 cup | 237ml | Sour cream |
3/4 cup | 109g / 3.8oz | Coarsely-crumbled blue cheese |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Cider vinegar |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Fresh lemon juice |
2 | Tabasco sauce | |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Grated onion |
1/2 teaspoon | 2.5ml | Finely-minced garlic |
2 tablespoons | 30ml | Chopped flat-leaf parsley |
Salt - to taste | ||
Freshly-ground black pepper - to taste |
Fold the mayonnaise and sour cream together in a bowl. Add the remaining ingredients and fold in gently. Refrigerate, covered, until ready to use. The sauce will keep for about a week.
This recipe yields about 2 cups.
