Remoulade Sauce Recipe - Cooking Index
This is a great substitute for tartar sauce.
Courses: Sauces3/4 cup | 177ml | Mayonnaise |
2 teaspoons | 10ml | Dijon mustard |
1 1/2 teaspoons | 7.5ml | Whole-grain mustard |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Tarragon vinegar |
1/4 teaspoon | 1.3ml | Tabasco sauce |
2 teaspoons | 10ml | Drained tiny capers - chopped |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Chopped fresh flat-leaf parsley |
1 | Scallion, 3" of green left on - very thinly sliced | |
Salt - to taste | ||
Freshly-ground black pepper - to taste |
Combine ingredients in a bowl. Set aside, covered, in the refrigerator.
This recipe yields 1 cup (16 tablespoons).
Nutritional Analysis Per 1-tablespoon Serving: 80 calories, no carbohydrates, no protein, 8g fat, 10mg cholesterol.
