Noodles In Fairy Butter (Recipe For April Fools Day)

Recipe Ingredients

4		Egg yolks - hard-cooked
1/2 cup	99g / 3.5oz	Sugar
1/2 cup	99g / 3.5oz	Sweet butter - softened
1 teaspoon	5ml	Dried thyme - *
1 teaspoon	5ml	Dried sweet basil - *
2 tablespoons	30ml	Orange flower water
1 lb	454g / 16oz	Noodles - cooked
1		Orange - sliced

Recipe Instructions

beat the egg yolks, sugar, butter, thyme, basil, and orange water in a small bowl until smooth. Mix enough of the butter with the hot noodles to coat them with a golden-yellow color. Garnish with orange slices.

* whenever possible, I use fresh rather than dried herbs
