Caramelized Bacon Recipe - Cooking Index
Serve with low carb muffins for breakfast for a change from eggs.
Type: Pork1 cup | 160g / 5.6oz | Brown Sugar Twin |
1/2 teaspoon | 2.5ml | Ground cinnamon |
1 lb | 454g / 16oz | Thick-sliced bacon |
Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
In a shallow bowl, mix brown sugar twin and cinnamon. Dip bacon slices in the mixture until lightly coated.
Arrange bacon in a single layer on a baking sheet with edges. Bake 10 to 15 minutes in the oven, turning once.
Bake until dark golden brown. Allow to cool slightly before serving.
This recipe yields 4 servings; 5 carb grams per serving.
