Mushrooms And Peas For Pasta Or Rice

Recipe Ingredients

3 tablespoons 45mlButter
1/4 cup 59mlWhite wine
10 oz 284gFresh mushrooms sliced
1/2   Heavy cream - (room temp)
  Evenly - (try an egg slicer)
1   Half and half - (room temp)
5 oz 142gFrozen baby peas
1/2 cup 73g / 2.6ozGrated parmigiana cheese
1/4 cup 59mlOlive oil
  Pasta or rice

Recipe Instructions

Melt butter in olive oil. Sautee mushrooms and peas about 5 minute. Add wine and simmer 5 minutes. Turn off heat. Add cream and half and half and mix well. (never cook cream or half and half on high heat- it will separate).

Cook pasta or rice according to directions and drain well but keep hot. Mix with sauce and toss with 1/2 th cheese. Serve hot with extra cheese on the side.
