Ricotta Frittata Recipe - Cooking Index

Freshly-ground white pepper - to taste | ||
1 cup | 146g / 5.1oz | Ricotta cheese |
1/4 cup | 36g / 1.3oz | Freshly-grated Parmesan cheese |
1 1/2 tablespoons | 22ml | Chopped marjoram |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Garlic clove - crushed (small) |
2 tablespoons | 30ml | Mixture olive oil and melted butter |
Preheat broiler.
Beat eggs with 3/4 teaspoon salt and white pepper to taste. Stir in cheeses, marjoram and garlic.
Heat oil and butter in 8- or 10-inch skillet. Add egg mixture and lower heat. Cook until set, about 12 minutes, then brown 4 to 6 inches under broiler. When done, slide frittata onto a plate.
This recipe yields 6 servings; 2 carb grams per serving.
