Sauteed Zucchini Recipe - Cooking Index
1/2 tablespoon | 7.5ml | Onion - sliced (small) |
1 lb | 454g / 16oz | Mushrooms - sliced |
5 | Zucchini - (to 6) - sliced | |
2 tablespoons | 30ml | Butter |
Seasonings - to taste | ||
= (Mrs. Dash, Lawry's, or | ||
Spike all work great!) | ||
1 cup | 146g / 5.1oz | Grated or shredded mozzarella cheese |
Saute onions and mushrooms in butter until tender. Add zucchini and cook just until tender -- don't overcook!
Sprinkle with seasoning; stir to mix well and, while still in frying pan, top with mozzarella cheese. When cheese is melted, serve immediately!
This recipe yields 8 servings; 3.5 carb grams per serving.
