1/4 cup | 59ml | Chili sauce |
2/3 cup | 157ml | Mayonnaise |
1/2 cup | 118ml | Lemon juice - divided |
1/2 teaspoon | 2.5ml | Salt |
1 lb | 454g / 16oz | Jumbo lump crab meat |
1 cup | 110g / 3.9oz | Chopped celery |
1 cup | 146g / 5.1oz | Chopped Brazil nuts |
Lettuce - for serving | ||
Avocado - (optional) |
Combine chili sauce, mayonnaise, 2 tablespoons lemon juice and salt in a small bowl. Add crab meat, celery and nuts; mix lightly and refrigerate.
At serving time, spoon salad on lettuce.
Optional: Garnish with avocado slices dipped in remaining lemon juice.
This recipe yields 6 servings; 3 carb grams per serving.
