Cheesy Garlic Bread Recipe - Cooking Index

Heat the oven to 350 degrees.
Melt the butter in a skillet over low heat. Add the garlic and cook gently until soft and mellowed but not browned, about 5 minutes. Remove from the heat and cool slightly.
Scrape the butter and garlic into a bowl. Add the basil, parsley, pepper flakes and Taleggio. Mix well.
Slice the bread in half lengthwise. Spread the cheese mixture evenly over both cut sides. Set the bread on a baking sheet and bake until bubbly, 15 minutes. Cool slightly before cutting crosswise into 1-inch strips.
This recipe yields 6 to 8 servings.
