Roasted Cayenne Walnuts Recipe - Cooking Index
2 1/2 tablespoons | 37ml | Unsalted butter |
1 1/2 tablespoons | 22ml | Chopped fresh rosemary |
= (or 2 tspns dried rosemary) | ||
1/2 teaspoon | 2.5ml | Salt |
1/2 teaspoon | 2.5ml | Cayenne pepper |
2 cups | 474ml | Walnuts |
Melt butter and add rosemary, salt and cayenne. Stir mixture and pour over walnuts, tossing until coated. Bake nuts on a cookie sheet for 10 minutes at 300 degrees, or until you no longer can taste rawness.
This recipe yields 4 servings.
