Red-Eyed Meat Marinade Recipe - Cooking Index
2 cups | 474ml | Strong brewed coffee |
2 cups | 125g / 4.4oz | Onions - cut large pieces (large) |
1 cup | 237ml | Soy sauce |
1 cup | 237ml | Dry white wine |
1/2 cup | 118ml | Orange juice |
1/2 cup | 118ml | Molasses |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Salt |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Freshly-ground black pepper |
Place the coffee, onions, soy sauce, white wine, orange juice, molasses, salt and pepper in a blender and process, in batches if necessary.
Use as a marinade for pork butt, rib-eye steak, prime rib or beef brisket.
This recipe yields 8 cups.
