Vegetable Medley Recipe - Cooking Index
1/2 cup | 118ml | Water |
1 | Frozen green lima beans - (16 oz) | |
1 | Frozen peas - (16 oz) | |
1/2 lb | 227g / 8oz | Fresh mushrooms - sliced |
1/4 cup | 49g / 1.7oz | Butter - (1/2 stick) |
1/4 teaspoon | 1.3ml | Salt |
Bring the water to boil and add the lima beans and peas. Cook them until tender, about 8 minutes. Drain the vegetables and place them in a serving bowl.
Cook the mushrooms in the butter in a skillet over medium-high heat until tender, 5 to 6 minutes. Pour over the hot vegetables. Season with salt and serve at once.
This recipe yields 6 servings.
