1/2 lb | 227g / 8oz | Chopped spinach |
1 | Creamy corn soup | |
1 | Crab meat - (6 oz) | |
Shredded Swiss cheese |
In a large pot, brown bacon. Add chopped onion. Brown well. Drain off most of the fat. Add spinach that has been rinsed in warm water and well drained. (Press it flat in a colander to drain.) Add corn soup and crab meat. Simmer gently 5 minutes, being careful not to let it boil.
Serve topped with shredded Swiss cheese. With crusty bread and maybe a salad, this makes a wonderful evening meal.
