Pickled Carrot And Daikon Recipe - Cooking Index
This is a colorful addition to Vietnamese sandwiches of pork pate or pork meatloaf.
Type: Vegetables1 cup | 110g / 3.9oz | Thinly-sliced carrots |
1 cup | 237ml | Thinly-sliced daikon |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Coarse salt |
2 tablespoons | 30ml | Sugar |
1/4 cup | 59ml | Vinegar |
2 tablespoons | 30ml | Water |
Combine carrots, daikon, salt, sugar, vinegar and water in small bowl. Cover and chill 2 hours.
This recipe yields 1 1/2 cups.
Each 1/4 cup: 13 calories; 597 mg sodium; 0 cholesterol; 0 fat; 3 grams carbohydrates; 0 protein; 0.22 gram fiber.
