Fried Cucumbers Recipe - Cooking Index
2 | Cucumbers - peeled, and | |
Sliced 1/2" thick | ||
1/4 cup | 15g / 0.5oz | Flour |
3 tablespoons | 45ml | Butter |
Salt - to taste | ||
Freshly-ground black pepper - to taste |
Pat cucumber slices dry with paper towel. Dredge them in flour.
Heat 1 1/2 tablespoons butter in skillet over medium heat and fry 1/2 cucumber slices until brown, 2 minutes per side. Remove from pan and drain on paper towels.
Add rest of butter to pan and fry remaining slices, then drain.
This recipe yields 4 to 6 servings.
Each of 6 servings: 81 calories; 110 mg sodium; 16 mg cholesterol; 6 grams fat; 7 grams carbohydrates; 1 gram protein; 0.62 gram fiber.
