Broccoli Salad

Recipe Ingredients

  Dressing
1 cup 237mlMayonnaise
1 teaspoon 5mlWhite wine vinegar
1/4 cup 49g / 1.7ozSugar
  Assembly
1 1/2 lbs 681g / 24ozBroccoli florets - (to 2 lbs)
1 cup 160g / 5.6ozGolden raisins
1 cup 110g / 3.9ozSalted sunflower seeds
1 cup 62g / 2.2ozRed onion - chopped (small)
8   Bacon - cooked, crumbled

Recipe Instructions

For the dressing, mix together mayonnaise, vinegar and sugar. Cover and refrigerate 2 hours for flavors to meld.

For assembly, in large serving bowl, combine broccoli, raisins, sunflower seeds, onion and bacon. Just before serving, add Dressing to broccoli mixture and stir well.

This recipe yields 10 to 12 servings.

Each of 12 servings: 230 calories; 296 mg sodium; 8 mg cholesterol; 14 grams fat; 25 grams carbohydrates; 6 grams protein; 1.03 grams fiber.
