Broccoli Salad Recipe - Cooking Index
Dressing | ||
1 cup | 237ml | Mayonnaise |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | White wine vinegar |
1/4 cup | 49g / 1.7oz | Sugar |

1 1/2 lbs | 681g / 24oz | Broccoli florets - (to 2 lbs) |
1 cup | 160g / 5.6oz | Golden raisins |
1 cup | 110g / 3.9oz | Salted sunflower seeds |
1 cup | 62g / 2.2oz | Red onion - chopped (small) |
8 | Bacon - cooked, crumbled |
For the dressing, mix together mayonnaise, vinegar and sugar. Cover and refrigerate 2 hours for flavors to meld.
For assembly, in large serving bowl, combine broccoli, raisins, sunflower seeds, onion and bacon. Just before serving, add Dressing to broccoli mixture and stir well.
This recipe yields 10 to 12 servings.
Each of 12 servings: 230 calories; 296 mg sodium; 8 mg cholesterol; 14 grams fat; 25 grams carbohydrates; 6 grams protein; 1.03 grams fiber.
