1/2 cup | 31g / 1.1oz | Flour - plus |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Flour |
2 tablespoons | 30ml | Apples - peeled, cored, (small) |
And thinly sliced | ||
3 tablespoons | 45ml | Brown sugar - (lightly packed) |
3 tablespoons | 45ml | Powdered sugar |
Combine 2 tablespoons melted butter with eggs, milk, granulated sugar, vanilla, cinnamon, salt and flour. Mix batter by hand or in food processor. Set aside.
Heat remaining 3 tablespoons butter with apple slices in 10-inch skillet until apples are sizzling and slightly cooked. Pour in batter.
Sprinkle top with brown sugar and bake at 450 degrees until well browned and puffed, 25 minutes.
Dust with powdered sugar. Cut into wedges and serve immediately.
