Sauerkraut Relish Recipe - Cooking Index
1 | Sauerkraut - (1 lb) | |
1/2 cup | 55g / 1.9oz | Chopped celery |
1/4 cup | 15g / 0.5oz | Finely-chopped onion |
1/4 cup | 36g / 1.3oz | Chopped green bell pepper |
1/2 cup | 99g / 3.5oz | Sugar |
Drain sauerkraut and chop fine. Add celery, onion, green pepper and sugar. Mix well. Cover and refrigerate 24 hours before using.
This recipe yields 2 1/2 cups.
Each tablespoon: 13 calories; 76 mg sodium; 0 cholesterol; 0 fat; 3 grams carbohydrates; 0 protein; 0.14 gram fiber.
