1/4 cup | 59ml | Olive oil |
1 | Anchovies - (2 ounces) drain | |
1 | Garlic - mince | |
2 | Red chili pepper - chop (small) | |
2/3 cup | 157ml | Black olives - chop |
3 | Leaves basil - chop | |
3 tablespoons | 45ml | Parsley - mince |
12 oz | 340g | Marinara sauce |
2 tablespoons | 30ml | Capers - drain |
Penne pasta; cook - drain |
In olive oil sauteeanchovies until dissolved; add garlic, chili pepper and olives. Sauteea few minutes. Add basil, parsley and marinara. Simmer for 5 to 10 minutes. Serve over penne.
