Italian-Style Red Sauce Recipe - Cooking Index
| 1 | Chopped plum tomatoes | |
| 1 | Tomato paste | |
| 2 tablespoons | 30ml | Red wine vinegar |
| 1 tablespoon | 15ml | Olive oil |
| 1 teaspoon | 5ml | Dried oregano |
| 1 teaspoon | 5ml | Dried basil |
| 1 teaspoon | 5ml | Dried parsley |
| 2 | Garlic | |
| 1 | Beef bullion | |
| 1/4 teaspoon | 1.3ml | Ground ginger |
| 1/8 teaspoon | 0.6ml | Ground black pepper |
| Salt - to taste |
Mix everything together in a small saucepan on medium heat until it starts bubbling. Reduce to simmer for 30 minutes to 1 hour, stirring occassionally.
