3/4 cup | 120g / 4.2oz | Rice |
1/4 teaspoon | 1.3ml | Salt |
2 cups | 474ml | Water |
6 tablespoons | 90ml | Oil |
2 tablespoons | 30ml | White wine vinegar |
2 tablespoons | 30ml | Soy sauce |
1/4 teaspoon | 1.3ml | Pepper |
1/4 teaspoon | 1.3ml | Turmeric |
1/4 lb | 113g / 4oz | Spinach |
1/2 cup | 31g / 1.1oz | Sliced green onion |
4 | Crumbled slices crisp | |

Simmer rice, covered, in salted water until rice is done. Drain. Combine oil, vinegar, soy, pepper, turmeric. Stir into the still warm rice. TEAR the spinach into small pieces. Toss spinach, onion and bacon into the rice.
Eat it as a cold salad, or warm as a side dish.
