Italian Sausage Risotto Recipe - Cooking Index
3/4 lb | 340g / 11oz | Italian sausage links cut into 1-inch pieces |
14 1/2 oz | 411g | Beef broth |
2 oz | 56g | Pimiento - drained, diced |
1 cup | 160g / 5.6oz | Uncooked rice |
1/4 teaspoon | 1.3ml | Garlic powder |
1/8 teaspoon | 0.6ml | Pepper |
9 oz | 255g | Frozen cut broccoli - thawed |
2 tablespoons | 30ml | Parmesan cheese - grated |
Cook sausage in large skillet over medium-high heat for 3 to 5 minutes or until well browned, stirring occasionally; drain. Add beef broth, pimiento, rice, garlic powder and pepper. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat to low; cover and simmer 10 minutes. Stir in broccoli; cover. Simmer an additional 10 minutes or until liquid is absorbed and broccoli is tender, stirring occasionally. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese. 4 (1-1/4 cup) servings.
