Morwong Cru Recipe - Cooking Index
An original idea from Tahiti -- somewhat changed.
Type: Fish1 1/2 lbs | 681g / 24oz | Haddock or bream fillets - cut 1/2" cubes |
2 lbs | 908g / 32oz | Onions - finely sliced (small) |
Juice of 6 lemons | ||
4 oz | 113g | Cucumber - finely diced |
4 oz | 113g | Carrot - finely diced |
4 oz | 113g | Celery - finely diced |
Place fish, onion and lemon juice in a bowl. Cover with a cloth and place in the refrigerator for 12 hours.
When 'cooked' strain off lemon juice and stir in chopped vegetables. Serve this mixture chilled with coconut mayonnaise dressing in a separate bowl.
This recipe yields 6 servings.
