Broiled Mushrooms

Recipe Ingredients

18 lbs 8172g / 288ozMushroom caps (large)
  = (save stems for another use)
1/2 cup 99g / 3.5ozMelted butter
  Salt - to taste
  Freshly-ground black pepper - to taste
6   Bread - crusts removed,
  Sauteed golden brown in butter

Recipe Instructions

Brush both sides of mushroom caps with melted butter and arrange them rounded-side down in a large baking dish. Place them under a medium broiler flame for 4 minutes, turn them over, and broil for another 4 minutes. Season with salt and pepper.

Pace 3 mushrooms on each of the browned slices of bread on a hot serving platter.

This recipe yields 6 servings.
