| 2 | Apples - peeled and cored, coarsely chopped | |
| 6 | Dates - finely chopped | |
| 1 | Hard-boiled egg - finely chopped | |
| 1/2 cup | 46g / 1.6oz | Almonds - finely chopped | 
| 1/4 cup | 36g / 1.3oz | Walnuts - finely chopped | 
| 1/4 cup | 40g / 1.4oz | Raisins - finely chopped | 
| One lemon - juice of | ||
| 1 tablespoon | 15ml | Matzah meal - (1 to 2) | 
In a large bowl, mix fruits and nuts to blend thoroughly. Add lemon juice and enough matzah meal to bind the mixture. Mound charoset tin a bowl or roll into one inch balls and arrange on plate
