Spicy Tartar Sauce Recipe - Cooking Index
1 1/2 teaspoons | 7.5ml | Unsalted butter |
1/2 cup | 31g / 1.1oz | Corn kernels |

1 | Cayenne | |
1 cup | 237ml | Mayonnaise |
1/4 cup | 15g / 0.5oz | Chopped seeded tomatoes |
2 tablespoons | 30ml | Chopped green onions - green parts only |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Minced seeded jalapeño |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Chopped fresh parsley |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Minced garlic |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Hot red pepper sauce |
1/2 teaspoon | 2.5ml | Fresh lemon juice |
1/2 teaspoon | 2.5ml | Creole seasoning |
Melt the butter in a small saute pan over medium-high heat. Add the corn, salt, and cayenne, and cook, stirring occasionally, until deep golden brown, 5 minutes. Transfer to a large mixing bowl and let cool.
Add the remaining ingredients and mix thoroughly. Refrigerate until ready to serve.
This recipe yields 1 1/2 cups.
