Emeril's Frozen Milk Punch Recipe - Cooking Index
1 1/4 cups | 296ml | Brandy |
1 1/4 cups | 296ml | Bourbon |
1 1/4 cups | 296ml | Dark rum |
3 | Half-and-half | |
4 tablespoons | 60ml | Pure Mexican vanilla |
3/4 cup | 246g / 8.7oz | Simple syrup - (to 1 cup) - equal parts sugar |
And water, simmered til sugar dissolves an | ||
Freshly-grated nutmeg - to taste |
In a plastic gallon container, with a lid, combine the brandy, bourbon, rum, half-and-half, and vanilla. Mix well. Sweeten the cream mixture to taste with the simple syrup. Cover and freeze until slightly frozen.
To serve, using an ice pick, slush the mixture. Spoon into balloon wine glasses and garnish with nutmeg.
This recipe yields 4 quarts.
