Bourbon BBQ Sauce

Recipe Ingredients

2   Tomato ketchup - (14 oz ea)
3/4 cup 177mlBourbon
1 tablespoon 15mlMolasses
1 tablespoon 15mlCreole or whole grain mustard
1 tablespoon 15mlChopped garlic
1/2 cup 31g / 1.1ozChopped onions
1/4 cup 40g / 1.4ozLight brown sugar - (firmly packed)
1 teaspoon 5mlHot pepper sauce
1 teaspoon 5mlWorcestershire sauce
1/2 teaspoon 2.5mlSalt
1/4 teaspoon 1.3mlCayenne
1 tablespoon 15mlGrated peeled fresh ginger

Recipe Instructions

Combine all of the ingredients in a food processor or blender and process until smooth, about 15 seconds. Scrape down the sides of the bowl with a rubber spatula. Pulse 2 or 3 times. Store in a sterilized container until ready to use.

This recipe yields about 1 quart.
