Tarte Au Sucre (Sugar Pie) Recipe - Cooking Index
1 cup | 198g / 7oz | Maple sugar |
1 cup | 160g / 5.6oz | Light brown sugar |
1/4 cup | 59ml | Heavy cream |
1 | Egg | |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Flour |
2 tablespoons | 30ml | Butter - melted |
1 | Unbaked 9" pie shell |
Preheat the oven to 400 degrees. In a mixing bowl, combine the first 6 ingredients together. Pour into the pie shell and bake until golden brown, about 25 minutes.
Remove from oven and cool for 5 minutes before serving. Slice the pie into individual servings and serve warm.
This recipe yields 8 servings.
