Tossed Green Salad With Vinaigrette Dressing Recipe - Cooking Index

1 | Red leaf lettuce head (small) | |

Dressing | ||
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Red wine vinegar |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Dijon mustard |
Salt - to taste | ||
Freshly-ground black pepper - to taste | ||
1/4 cup | 59ml | Oil, olive or vegetable - or half of each |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Minced parsley |
Pull apart salad leaves. Wash and dry greens in a salad spinner or colander. Put greens in a large salad bowl.
In a small bowl whisk together vinegar, mustard, salt and pepper. Slowly whisk in oil. Stir in parsley.
Pour dressing over salad and toss to combine.
