Rice 'n' Spice Salad Recipe - Cooking Index
| 1 | Frozen green beans - (9 oz) | |
| 2 cups | 320g / 11oz | Quick-cooking rice - uncooked |
| 1 | Chicken broth - (13 1/2 oz) | |
| 1 cup | 237ml | Sliced mushrooms |
| 3/4 cup | 177ml | Bottled Italian dressing |
| 2 tablespoons | 30ml | Chopped pimento |
| 1/2 teaspoon | 2.5ml | Onion salt |
In a saucepan combine green beans, rice, and chicken broth. Bring to a boil. Cover and cook over low heat about 5 minutes or until all of the liquid is absorbed.
In a large bowl combine rice mixture with mushrooms, Italian dressing, pimento and onion salt. Place in the refrigerator and chill overnight.
This recipe yields 4 servings.
