2 tablespoons | 30ml | Butternut squashes - peeled, seeded, (medium) |
And cut into pieces about 2" | ||

Butter - (optional) | ||
Honey - (optional) |
Steam butternut squash above boiling water, covered, until tender, about 12 minutes. Puree. Salt lightly. If squash is just right you won't need to add anything else, but sometimes a small bit of butter and honey are needed. Serve hot.
This recipe yields 4 to 6 servings.
