Butternut Squash Puree

Recipe Ingredients

2 tablespoons 30mlButternut squashes - peeled, seeded, (medium)
  And cut into pieces about 2"
  Salt
  Butter - (optional)
  Honey - (optional)

Recipe Instructions

Steam butternut squash above boiling water, covered, until tender, about 12 minutes. Puree. Salt lightly. If squash is just right you won't need to add anything else, but sometimes a small bit of butter and honey are needed. Serve hot.

This recipe yields 4 to 6 servings.
