Chinese Dipping Sauce Recipe - Cooking Index
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Sesame seeds |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Garlic clove - minced (small) |
1 | Scallion, green and white parts - finely chopped | |
4 tablespoons | 60ml | Soy sauce |
2 tablespoons | 30ml | White vinegar |
2 teaspoons | 10ml | Sesame oil |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Sugar |
In a toaster oven or heavy skillet, toast the sesame seeds over medium-high heat until slightly browned.
Transfer the sesame seeds to a small bowl and add the remaining ingredients. Mix well. Serve at room temperature.
This recipe yields 1/2 cup.
