Garlic-Cheese Mostaccioli

Recipe Ingredients

12 oz 340gMostaccioli
20   Garlic - minced
1   Yellow onion - minced (large)
4 tablespoons 60mlButter
  Freshly ground black pepper
1 1/2 lbs 681g / 24ozColby cheese - grated
1/2 cup 118mlDry white wine
1/4 lb 113g / 4ozMozzarella cheese - grated
1/4 cup 36g / 1.3ozFresh parsley - chopped

Recipe Instructions

Prepare mostaccioli according to package directions, using a little olive oil in the water. Drain. Keep warm in a shallow ovenproof baking dish. Sauteegarlic and onion in 2 tablespoons butter. Add pepper and set aside. Melt remaining 2 tablespoons of butter in top of double boiler, add grated Colby cheese and stir in wine. When cheese had melted, combine with garlic-onion mixture and pour over mostaccioli. Sprinkle grated Mozzarella and parsely over; place on middle shelf of oven and broil for 1 to 2 minutes. Makes 10 servings.
