Garlic-Cheese Mostaccioli Recipe - Cooking Index

1 | Yellow onion - minced (large) | |
4 tablespoons | 60ml | Butter |

1 1/2 lbs | 681g / 24oz | Colby cheese - grated |
1/2 cup | 118ml | Dry white wine |
1/4 lb | 113g / 4oz | Mozzarella cheese - grated |
1/4 cup | 36g / 1.3oz | Fresh parsley - chopped |
Prepare mostaccioli according to package directions, using a little olive oil in the water. Drain. Keep warm in a shallow ovenproof baking dish. Sauteegarlic and onion in 2 tablespoons butter. Add pepper and set aside. Melt remaining 2 tablespoons of butter in top of double boiler, add grated Colby cheese and stir in wine. When cheese had melted, combine with garlic-onion mixture and pour over mostaccioli. Sprinkle grated Mozzarella and parsely over; place on middle shelf of oven and broil for 1 to 2 minutes. Makes 10 servings.
