Berry Gelatin Salad Recipe - Cooking Index

1 | Strawberry-flavored gelatin - (6 oz) | |
= (or or two 3-oz packages) | ||
2 cups | 474ml | Boiling water |
1/2 cup | 118ml | Dry white wine |
1 | Banana - peeled and sliced | |
Lettuce - for serving |
* Note: Raspberries, Blackberries, or Boysenberries may be substituted.
Drain berries; reserve syrup. Dissolve gelatin in water; add reserved syrup and wine. Chill until mixture begins to thicken. Add drained berries and banana. Pour into 3 1/2-cup mold. Refrigerate until firm. Unmold onto lettuce-lined platter.
This recipe yields 6 servings.
Serving Tip: Berry Gelatin Salad can be served with dairy sour cream, lemon-flavored yogurt, or your favorite salad dressing.
