Cranberry Apple Swirl

This dessert looks beautiful served on your holiday table, with its sparkling red layers alternating with snowy white ones.

Recipe Ingredients

1 1/2 cups 355mlCranberry-Orange Cinnamon Sauce - (see recipe)
1 1/2 cups 219g / 7.7ozDiced apple (any variety)
1 cup 237mlNonfat plain yogurt
2 cups 474mlLow-fat sour cream
2 tablespoons 30mlOrange juice
2 teaspoons 10mlHoney
1 teaspoon 5mlCinnamon
2 tablespoons 30mlGrated orange peel

Recipe Instructions

Combine the cranberry sauce and apples. Mix together the yogurt, sour cream, juice, honey, and cinnamon.

In six wine, parfait, or champagne glasses, place a layer of the cranberry-apple mixture. Add a layer of the yogurt mixture. Keep layering, ending with the yogurt mixture. Sprinkle orange peel on top and serve.

This recipe yields 6 servings. Serving size: 1 cup.
