Banana-Nut Bread Recipe - Cooking Index
Try serving this sweet bread with chicken or shrimp salad.

1/2 teaspoon | 2.5ml | Nutmeg |

1/4 cup | 49g / 1.7oz | Sugar |
1 1/2 cups | 355ml | Sliced bananas |
1/3 cup | 48g / 1.7oz | Chopped pecans |
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Combine the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and nutmeg in a mixing bowl. Process the eggs, oil, sugar, and bananas in a blender or food processor until smooth.
Pour the banana mixture into the flour and mix well. Add the pecans. Pour the batter into a nonstick 9- by 5-inch loaf pan. Bake for 40 to 50 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the bread comes out clean. Remove from the oven and let cool for 5 minutes before removing from the pan.
This recipe yields 16 servings. Serving size: One 1/2-inch-thick slice.
