Antipasti Salad Recipe - Cooking Index
1/2 lb | 227g / 8oz | Ziti pasta |
3 cups | 711ml | Water |
1/2 | Green bell pepper - diced | |
1/2 tablespoon | 7.5ml | Crushed garlic |
2 oz | 56g | Feta cheese |
2 tablespoons | 30ml | Extra-virgin olive oil |
1/4 tablespoon | 3.8ml | Red onion - diced (small) |
1/2 | Red bell pepper - diced | |
Freshly-ground black pepper - to taste | ||
5 tablespoons | 75ml | Balsamic vinegar |
Bring the water to a boil in a large pot. Add the ziti pasta and stir to prevent the pasta from sticking. Cook for 10 to 12 minutes, or until the pasta is done. Drain the water, then cover the pasta with cold water to cool.
Once the pasta has cooled, drain the water. Add the remaining ingredients to the pasta and mix well. Refrigerate for 1 hour, mix again, and serve.
