Tuna Salad

You can serve this tasty tuna salad in a number of different ways. Spread it on a bagel half, mound it on a plate and surround it with lettuce and other vegetables, or use it to make a delicious tuna melt.

Recipe Ingredients

1   Water-packed tuna - (3 oz) - well drained
1 tablespoon 15mlReduced-fat mayonnaise
1 tablespoon 15mlChopped red bell pepper
1/2 teaspoon 2.5mlBalsamic vinegar
1 tablespoon 15mlChopped chives
  = (or sliced green onion tops or
  Red onion)

Recipe Instructions

In a small bowl, flake the tuna with a fork. Combine with the mayonnaise, pepper, vinegar, and chives. Stir to mix well.

Serve as an open-faced sandwich or as a salad surrounded by raw vegetables.

This recipe yields 3 servings. Serving size: 2 tablespoons.
